My mom made a sheet music wreath, and I love how she added glitter to the edges, and added a silver bow and ornament in the center. She is taking it home to see if she can find a spot for it, but I have been told if she can't find a spot, it might live here! Yay! Gorgeous!!
Renee made an adorable rag wreath with green and gray felt rosettes. I love the color combination!
Julie wasn't going to come because she didn't have the supplies, but I had a wreath, and Emily had yard, so she at least got some done and plans to embellish it at home.
Jasmine chose to make a wreath she saw in Fresh Home magazine that was made of tootsie rolls. She followed the directions, which claimed that it took about an hour to make...
But after 2 hours, this is what she had....
Emily> and I very scarily think alike when it comes to craft projects.... This is not the first time we have had similar ideas. We both made white yarn wreaths, with felt flowers, and glittered letters. We cracked up when we saw that we both had the same supplies and concept! To make these wreaths, we wrapped fuzzy yarn around green foam wreath form. Once that was done, we made felt flowers following a tutorial I had seen yesterday, but I can't remember where!!!! We also glittered letters using mod podge and glitter, and glued those on. Here is Emily's wreath....
And here I am with my wreath! I also found this cute little sheet music birdy ornament at Target today for $1, so I added him to my wreath.
We had so much fun, and each came away with a unique wreath! I love mine so much, I am thinking of making some for gifts! They are not hard to make- the worst part is just wrapping the yarn over and over and over and over and over.....
Happy weekend, people! Get out, have fun! I am feeling a little better, just have a sore throat. Tomorrow night is an 80's night benefit for my son's elementary school. I will be back tomorrow to share POWW pics, and then on Sunday to show off my totally rad 80's outfit!

Pretty wreath! I wish my friends and I set up a night like this. So fun! Hey - I bought that little birdie at Target the other day. I love it! Happy weekend to ya :)
Cute, cute, cute! You girls must have such fun together!
So much fun! I love that you do that, it is a great idea to share inspiration and also spend time with precious friends :)
What great wreaths! I am definitely making one or maybe two of the yarn wreaths! Did you get my email?
cassie your wreath is beautiful! i love the colors. how long did this one take you to complete?
That is so cute! I love how your wreath turned out! I think this is such a good idea! I need to get a group of friends and begin doing this!
love your wreath, love your sweater! Where did you get the glitter letters?
I love all of your wreaths! Your mom's sheet music one with the added touch of glitter is such a fun holiday wreath. And I like the rag wreath, too. You could do it in some fun fabric for any holiday! And I just saw a wreath similar to yours and your friends in Real Simple Magazine and was just thinking I should totally make one of those! Thanks for some inspirational ideas! And I hope you feel better in time for your 80's party!
Yours and your moms are my favorite! Love the sheet music!
What a fun girls night! I love the neutral colors you chose for your wreath, Cassie, and the little bird adds the perfect touch. I'm a bird person and want to check out my Target for one of those little sheet music birds. Love the glittered edges on your mom's wreath and the silver bow! You both did beautiful wreaths! You are all a creative bunch of gals. Your gray sweater looks so cozy.
I really love your mom's sheet music wreath! and yours is my favorite I think, love the little bird, what a great little find at Target!

This is such a fun idea! I love it. And your yarn wreath is SO CUTE. I will have to check out Target for that bird! I love it. And tell your mom her wreath is fantastic. I had fun looking at them all! (And--I love your pic in the thumbnail! Ha! Now I know who did it!) Thanks SO much for linking up! Have a fun 80s night!
Thanks for all of the great wreath ideas! I can hardly wait to get decorating for Christmas!
I just bought two wreaths very similar to the one you mom made. I really like her glitter on the edges, I might just have to add that to mine... along with the silvery ribbon.

Cassie,
A big THANK YOU for welcoming me into your beautiful home for Friday Night's Wine and Design(and Emily for inviting me). My wreath was a fail but I had so much fun it didn't even matter! Thanks again and I hopefully I'll have a finished product at the next one. ;)

I'm stopping by one of these Friday nights!!!
I love all the wreaths, especially the rag one with the flowers, adorable!
Have you seen the Christmas tutorial from Emily at Jones Design Co.?
It's perfect for you and your friend's friday night dine & designs.

Had a blast the other night! I totally forgot to post your mom's wreath on my blog. I will fix that right away. I had it there originally and then moved the pics all around...oops! Anyway, thanks for teaching me how to make those felt rosettes...I think I may make a red one to interchange with the gray one for Christmas...hot glue isn't that hard to pry off, right?
Love all of the wreaths happening over there. I made a book page wreath yesterday and oh my goodness - it took me a long time - compared to banners and pom poms! But I am happy with it. Your group inspired with some new different wreaths I have not seen!
I love all of these wreaths! Thank you so much for linking up to air your laundry Friday again, Cassie. Your wreath turned out great!
Hugs,
Jami
Looks like you all had a great time! I love your mom's wreath, and yours turned out beautifully! That little birdie is so sweet, I'll have to look for one at Target (or "Tar-jay" as I like to say!!).
LOVE it! SUCH a cute idea! I will have to copy this too! (okay, seriously, what DON'T I copy of yours...:)
LOVE IT!! Thanks for linking it up...you've been getting crafty too! :) shaunna
