Piece of Work Wednesday Link Party Number 28!

Hi gang!  I will be starting the party early for probably yhe next month or so.... I have tried scheduling posts before and it doesn't work for me and I honestly don't know how to fix that.  I am subbing a muscle pump class for the month of March and probably April too as a coworker is out for surgery.  It's a Tuesday evening class, and with my husband travelling on Tuesdays, I get home, do homework with Sawyer, feed and bathe the kids, get them to bed, and soon it is time for me to go to bed so i can get up and teach another class at 6 am.  So, it's just easier to get it started earlier right now!  Thanks for understanding.

I found this cute little round table at Goodwill a couple months back.  In this picture, I had already sanded it.

I had planned on painting it all... but then I saw this gorgeous table, with a similarly detailed top, by Ali of My Third True Love. I fell in love with the gorgeous top and white distressed finish.

So I decided I whould just refinish the top.  I stripped the finish off of the table, but didn't sand off the stain.  I sanded the edges a little bit to give it a distressed finish on the top.  I painted the base a semigloss off white, distressed it lightly, and antiqued it, and here it is now!

So what have you been up to?  Can't wait to see!!!

SO gorgeous!!! It looks so pretty, and you're right, it's the cousin to my coffee table. Great job! Well, since yarn wreaths don't count as furniture, you guessed it, I won't be linking up. Boohoo. xo

Thanks for another great linky party. I love your little table - the two tone works perfectly - and the distressing around the crown really shows off all the details!
