Spending Time with.... Elizabeth & Co

If you are here for the POWW furniture link party, click here.  It's still going on!  But I had to tell you about my awesome day yesterday!

A couple weeks ago, I had seen that my pal Sharon was planning to hold another sale at the house space she shares with a few other talented ladies in Westminster, MD.  I was so bummed because it happened to be the Saturday that I was going to be out of town.  Sharon offered to let me come up prior to the sale for a tour and a lunch date!

If you have not "met" Sharon, you need to hop over to her blog, Elizabeth & Co and say hello.  Not only is she very talented with refurbishing furniture, but she happens to be one of the sweetest, most thoughtful, and real bloggers out there.  Sharon and I met a couple years ago when she bought something from me at the Lucketts Antique Market.  Then at the 2010 market, she introduced herself officially to me, and shortly after started her business as well.  I am so happy for her that she has found something she loves doing and can share in it with great friends, and now even her daughter, Megan, too! I was so excited to get to spend a couple hours with her today.  And as a bonus, her daughter, Megan, has recently moved back to Maryland with her husband, and was able to join us today!  I had heard so much about Megan, and was excited to finally meet her in person.  She is just as sweet and warm as her mother... the apple does not fall far from the tree.

I met Sharon at the house on Main St.  The house actually belonged to Sharon's husband's grandparents and is a very neat old house that holds lots of memories for her husband.  Each room is set up and filled with redesigned furniture, vintage finds, and adorable upcycled crafts.  I took tons of pictures to share with you! Everything was grouped together by color which kept it easy on the eyes and aesthetically pleasing.

This pink vignette is so sweet!  There was more in pink next to it as well- any little girl would love it!  And do you see that adorable wreath?  Sharon's daughter, Megan, makes those!

Lots of my favorite color..... blue!  And so many cute magnetic boards- love the funky one below!

More beautiful blue!  And check out the cute cutout detail on this dresser!

Yes, more blue!  Can you tell I love it?  The chair in this picture is awesome!  The fabric is so fun,  And it was priced at only $24!!!!  I couldn't believe it!

Love these metal buckets and of course the adorable pillow!  There was so much eye candy!

And this was my favorite setup.  I love all the yellow against the gray shelf- it just looks so happy and vibrant.

This green dresser is FABULOUS.

And this desk is so cute in the two tone wood and blue.  I love this idea!

Fun Fun Fun!!!  Vintage aprons!!!

This is one of my all time favorites of Sharon's pieces- the colors are gorgeous as well as the style.  I am sure this piece will be gone fast!

And this one her pal Karla did.... I think this was my favorite piece there.  I love the modern shape of it- check out the area around the handles on the drawers- very cool.  And the color is also spot on.  Oh, and did you see the fun little legs?

How awesome is this cubby?  Great for storing mail, papers, photos, dishes....

And how pretty are these glasses and candlesticks.... don't answer that- it's rhetorical.  I know how pretty they are.

And here I am with Sharon!

Sharon, thank you soooo much for a wonderful day, a fabulous tour of your beautifully decorated space, and a yummy lunch with you and Megan!  I had the best time!

If you live locally, be sure to stop by Elizabeth & Co this Saturday from 9am to 3pm at 438 E main St, Westminster, MD 21157.  And if you'd like to stop by Sharon's blog just click on her button below!
