Dreaming

I have to say, I know I prepped you all for this time when I would have no house, no projects, no fun to blog about, but I am feeling out of sorts.  I didn't prep myself, apparently.  So for now, I have been dreaming up ideas for the next house, wherever it may be.  And I have to tell you, I have the greatest dreaming buddy in Emmy.  She is a girl after my own heart, and likes to scan pinterest with me, drooling over pretty rooms.  She has decided that her next room is going to be aqua, pink, and red.  So I think we are going to go retro, vintage, but clean and modern possibly, too.  Here are some of the images that have us dreaming....
This is a favorite!

I love this one more than Emmy.  I love the wall color the most.
How FUN is this room?
This is an absolute favorite as far as colors go!  We love the tissue poms!

Again the wall color- and the textiles!

So until we have an actual house to plan, we will keep dreaming!  Many afternoons lately, you can find Emmy and I snuggling on the couch, perusing for pretty rooms.   Dream on!

I loove all of those images. I think this is the perfect time to re-aquaint yourself with the magic of spray paint. Pick up a few small items, get a mask and spray in your parent's back yard!! :)

Good luck on the move, finding a house, & all the chaos wrapped up in the whole process. I totally know what it's like as we just made a move a week ago. You sold your home faster than we did, but we actually purchased the new one before we sold. I don't have little ones to care for during this process, so good luck with that. I am about halfway through the unpacking process & just starting to do the little touches of decorating. It's a chaotic & very stressful experience, but wonderful at the same time. All the best to you.

As I mentioned before, I am in LOVE with that color scheme. Remind me when you're here to show you some things I had clipped out long ago when dreaming of my little girl's room :)
(I'm so thrilled that I get to say "when you're here!!!!!!")

Dreaming is my favorite past-time! Now, if only I could get my Pinterest invite... I've been waiting FOREVER!

Great color choices! Emmy had a great eye like her mama. ;0)

These are so cute! I love the mix of fabrics in the second one. I wish I was better at doing that. I hope I have a granddaughter one day so I can do a pretty room like these.

Those colors are great inspiration for us. My daughters' room is still a blank canvas. The only thing I know for sure is that we'll do something bright!
