POWW Faves!

Well, we survived and are here at my parents house now!  The toughest part about yesterday was that the kids had to say goodbye to the dogs, Charlie and Jake, for a while.  I will see them next week when I pick them up to drive them to Massachusetts.  Sawyer was sad at first and Emmy did ok, but Emmy had a delayed reaction.  About 30 minutes after they left it really dawned on her and she broke down in tears, crying that she missed them.  I told them they would be with Sandie for a while and they were going to have so much fun.  I told her as soon as we had a house we would go get them and bring them home to us. But she just cried, "I just love them so much!"  It was hard, but we know we will be reunited soon!

So as usual the projects blew me away!  So many fun and colorful projects this week!

I love not only this bed, but also the whole room from Catherina's Creative Corner!

This writing desk from I'm Busy Procrastinating is also gorgeous!  Love the color and those awesome legs!

This zebra dresser from Tres Chere Vintage Market is awesome mid century modern coolness!

And lastly, I love this chair makeover from Days of Chalk and Chocolate!  Isn't it gorgeous?  Love its details!

Happy Weekend!  Get out and enjoy yourself.  This is our last weekend before school starts for Sawyer on Tuesday!  And Emmy is Pre-K this year but because of the move and shuffling, etc, she is going to the Primitive & Proper Preschool for Princesses. :)

These are seriously fabulous! That first room is breathtaking! I'm sorry Emmy had such a hard time leaving the pups...she'll adjust and you'll find a house soon!

Awesome faves this week! :) Love them! And I know how Emmy feels. Pets are part of the family and it is hard to let them go, but I am sure deep down she knows they will be having fun on their mini vacation, and once they are reunited, their bond will be even stronger :) & What a lucky girl to get to go to that school. Princess school rules!! ;)

Thanks for featuring my turquoise writing desk, Cassie! I painted a faux bamboo chair to go with the desk, and on the other side of the bed is a nightstand I updated in turquoise, so my bedroom is a happy place these days!

I bet it was hard for Emmy and Sawyer! I have a hard time dropping my dog, Lars, off for an overnight stay at the boarder! Bless Emmy's heart. The time will go fast and you all be be together again soon! Charlie and Jake sound like they will be in wonderful hands. I think Emmy and Sawyer will have a ball at Grandma and Grandpa's house for awhile! May I apply for the Primitve and Proper Princess School? How fun! All amazing featured projects!
