This Boy....

wearing his "beard"

....turned 6 yesterday.

....can melt any woman's heart with his big baby blues.

....tells his sister she is beautiful when she is in her dance costume, and cheers her on excitedly.

....says thank you at the right times.

....still holds my hand and kisses me in public.

....would have been fast friends with my Grampa.

....makes me laugh with his silly side.

....will be a wonderful husband one day. (Today I had to take him shopping because he remembred all summer long that his girlfriend from kindergarten has a birthday-he actually knew the exact date.  She will be at his party Friday night, and he wanted to present her with a gift.  He chose a Barbie and a Barbie reading book).  One day in the distant future.

....amazes me with his lego-building skills.

....inspires me with his ability to laugh whole heartedly and enjoy life.

....has me wrapped around his finger.

....makes me so proud by the way he treats others.

....was the best birthday present I ever got (and now my second most memorable birthday is yesterday's of course).

Happy birthday, Sawyer.  One day when you are older, we will look back on this and read it together and you will know just how much you were loved and admired by me.  I am so proud of you.

Happy happy birthday to your sweet Sawyer! He is so adorable and I am happy that he is smart and sweet and sensitive. I prefer those types of boys over the rowdy aggresive type. I think my Noah and Sawyer would be best buds if we lived closer :)

well, my guy is 20 today and doesn't want me writing about him...it happens. Hold on to him as long as you can. He is, however, letting us take him out to dinner.
