Lucky Little Oliver

Over the past couple of years I have made so many friends through this blog, and for that I am eternally grateful.  There are a few friends who I consider to by part of my family, no matter how many miles separate us.  I met Ali, who I consider to be amazing, talented, creative, beautiful inside and out and a true friend.  Well this past year, Ali's twin sister, Lisa started a blog as well, and I was thrilled to get to know her.  Then in September I was able to meet both ladies in person.
Lisa, me, Ali at the Rose Bowl Flea

And they accepted me with open arms as a friend and a part of their family.  Like Ali, Lisa is beautiful, sweet, talented, and creative.  What is interesting is that their styles cross over in some ways, but Ali's is more cozy and cottagey, and Lisa has more of a modern edge.  Both ladies know how to create and put a room together.

Lisa is due to have her first baby, Oliver, in February.  She has designed a gorgeous, whimsical, and fun nursery for him that I had to share.  It's amazing and perfect!  I borrowed all of these images straight from  her blog.

Is it not amazing?  Oliver is one lucky baby!  To me, this nursery is the perfect blend of whimsy, natural and rustic elements, and modern lines, too.  It's just amazing.  I know Oliver is coming into this world already loved by so many, including his Aunt Cassie.  I can't wait to meet him!

To see more details and photos, head over to Lisa's blog!  Happy Monday!

Oliver is indeed a lucky boy! His nursery is gorgeous, such an interesting mix to make it a truly wonderful space for him to grow up in! I'm sure once he arrives he will love his new room.

My boys 'nursery' still isn't done and they will be 3 in April!

Love everything about this nursery. Oh course....love the owl and the owl pillow from Pier One!! lol

The color combo and how she pulls it through all the areas of the room, including the accents on the shelves and the gallery wall above the changing table is super neat.

Adorable! Love the colors and the mix of modern and vintage. Also love that a nursery no longer has to look like a nursery. As much as I love Big Bird and Winnie The Pooh, they no longer need to dominate nursery decor.

Gorgeous nursery! I loooove all that fabulous yellow! I always think yellow is not for me, but I really really LOVE how she used it here.
