A Guest Post at Between Blue & Yellow

NOTE:  if it is not there yet, it will be soon!  I have to go out all morning so needed to schedule this before! :)

I can't believe how many furniture makeovers I have had for you this week!  Ok, so only 3 (4 if you count the frames) but it feels like I am back in the swing...  Finally having a space in a shop has lit a fire under my you know where, and I have been getting lots done.  And it feels really good!

Finally I made my own chalk paint to make over these chairs....
I am sharing all the details today at my good friend Kathleen's blog, Between Blue and Yellow.  So if you want to know how I did it, and what I thought of the experience, hop on over!  And while you are there be sure to check out Kathleen's gorgeous furniture makeovers!  For now, here is a little sneak peak...

Head over to Between Blue and Yellow for the full scoop!

I guess because I subscribe, I got all of the post! Gold leaf is really much more difficult to work with. I gold leafed a nativity set and ended up putting antique gold rub and buff. Your tables look great!

I was puzzled by the first picture of your nightstands because I thought you said you had already gold leafed them and they were just a lovely shade of yellow. Then I figured it out! They look gorgeous. Perfect choice for those amazing "feet".

Loved your chairs at Kathleen's! You did a fantastic job! Always fun to see Kathleen's furniture, too. You both are so talented and of course incredibly sweet women! How fun you will meet in person at Haven and spend time together!
