Those stripes look great! Thanks for hosting today. :) Megan
I can see this piece in a boy's room, or a man's office for storage! Is that called tiger wood? I love how the grain of the wood is still showcased. So cool!
Love black paired with wood stain, and the stripes are fabulous!
Wow...what a transformation! Doesn't even look like the same piece, love it.
can't go wrong with stripes. love your makeover.
You added the perfect accents, Cassie. It looks great. So excited to have something to add to your link party for the first time!
I will always love stripes.
I'm glad you are keeping the party named POWW. It's catchy.

You WAY out did me on this one!! Love, love, love! Has it sold? I know it will go fast!
I am loving the stripes! For some reason--I am always drawn to them. Also--that "new twist of union jack (dresser)" is awesome.

Love that you were able to leave some of that pretty wood showing through those stripes! That's a great look! Thanks for hosting another party!
Cassie! I LOVE that! The wood is too pretty to cover up completely, and the black stripes frame it out so nice. Gorgeous, gorgeous piece!
This table looks really cool. I'm totally diggin' the contrast!! :)
Cool. Love the stripes.
U know how I love them stripey stripes :) xo
Love the stripes, such a cool look. Thanks for hosting- I think this is my first time partying with you! :)
Would you look at how beautiful the grain of the wood is now? You did a great job, Cassie. The stripes were a great idea too :)
That is a whole different look for you! But it is very fun! And funny you should mention about the "Wednesday" party ... I am always confused by parties with a day of the week in the title, but then they start a day earlier. I thought it was some secret blogger thing thatr no ever mentions - ha!
Thanks so much for hosting a great party. I love the chest so unique what a beautiful job.
Hi Cassie,
Linked up my iron and rope mirror. Didn't know if it counted as furniture or not, but I'm hoping it does. Thanks for hosting!!

Found you while visiting Frugal Tree Blog/Frugal Interior Designs one of my favorite sites..I too like making old pieces look new..nice views!
I love how you put the stripes where the knobs are and then kept the knobs natural, very cool!
You really scored on that chest! You could barely tell it was tiger maple in the before photo! You did a great job bringing out the lovely grain.
