First of all, a little bluebird of happiness landed in the guest room....
I also added a bench at the end of the guest room bed. I had it out on the porch, but changed the porch up a little, so I sanded this piece down a little more, waxed it, and now it resides here.
You can also sneak a peek of a very cool antique bucket I bought one year at the Lucketts Spring Market.
In the living room, I have been bringing in some green accents like this big green glass jug, and I added a little green lettuce leaf bowl of fake lemons. (Both pieces are vintage finds I had on hand due to being a hoarder).
I also added some green glass to the mantle, and kept it pretty simple with whites, aquas, and greens...
And yes, we are totally watching Strawberry Shortcake. We love it, thank you berry much.
I kept out my squirrel vase, mercury glass owl, and added a stack of HomeGoods butterfly plates froma few years ago.
And at the other end I added an Anthropologie plate from a couple years ago, and this awesome mercury glass mushroom that my amazing friend Lisa sent. It's meant to go in Emmy's room and it will as soon as I have her room put together and have some shelves for display. For now I am enjoying it here...
Now, my mom recently made Emmy some awesome white ruffled curtains which I will show you when I am ready, but she also made these fabulous pillows for Sawyer's room using her creative abilities and his Star Wars lego book. Freaking amazing they are, yes? On this bed Yoda resides, mmmm.
And Annakin on the other....
And apparently Jake has been residing on the guest bed by the window as well when we aren't home.... Mental note to shut the door when we leave! (This photo is of lots of white dog fur, though it's hard to see in the picture!)
Have you been Springifying your home as well?
Aside from these small changes, I am working on some bigger changes as well. Here is a sneak peek of a project I worked on this weekend....
Do you have any guesses?

Looks great! I can't wait for spring either. I've started adding little pops of green to my family room.
Yay for spring colors! I'm digging all the green glass, so pretty!! I can't wait to see what you've been working on! Those pillows your Mom made are fantastic!!!
Confession I still have my wreathes hanging outside. They still look like they are alive lol. I guess it's time to take them down and start getting ready for spring! Everything looks great so far!
Could that be tree outlines in your bedroom? Or maybe more woodland for Emmy? Show us soon!
I have a terrible case of spring fever!! I have so much pinned up decorating anxiety, I don't know where to start!?!? All your touches look beautiful and springy! Love those Star Wars Lego pillows!! Go MOM!!
I like the changes you've made. I'm starting to get spring fever too, but I woke up to a slight dusting of snow this morning.

I'm guessing a tree in your daughter's room! I'm in the mood for Spring, but haven't done too much about it yet. I need to get busy!
Your house is looking fab!! I am DYING over the star wars lego pillows. I know three little boys that would go ape over them!
I'm a big fan of putting a bench at the end of the bed in a guest room. Gives people a place to put their suitcase and not have to leave it on the floor.
Guesses... some kind of tree mural? I'm excited to see it. Whatever it is, it looks super cool!
Love all of the green glass decor you have added, it really looks grea with the yellow as well! That bunting is adorable & ties in nicely with all the new touches of green! And, WOW! Your mom did an amazing job on those Star Wars pillows!!
Your home is looking very spring-like with the changes you've made - love the blue bird perched on the window :-) And the glassware on your mantel really pretty.
Your mom did an awesome job on the Star Wars cushions - I bet your son loves them :-)
Your last project looks kind of like woodgrain painted on a wall. Curious to see what it actually is :-)
{You're right, I'm upgrading my #1 blog goal to world domination! :-) }
Your green glass pieces are very pretty! I think we're all anxious for spring!
Love your little touches of spring, I too am itching for the warm weather to be consistent. By the way did I ever ask you if you've been to ATL before?
Oooh, I want to come visit your mirror over the bed, your owl and mushroom, maybe a star wars pillow for the hubs and even the striped pillow too. Oh wait, I want to visit you too of course! Love the touches of spring too. How fun!
Well, I know I would like to see a larger photo of my buffet. I miss it ;)lol

I love the glass bluebird. What fun pillows your mom made for Sawyer! Looks like you are working in Emmy's room and it's looking great....painting the wall? Happy Monday Cassie!
Gee, thanks. Now I'm pretending to be Peggy Lee. Let me tell you: it doesn't go over real well with 8th graders.
I'm loving all the greens and blues around your house, Cassie! I am really embracing green as my color right now too. And I can't wait to see what that last picture is all about....I'm guessing Emmy's woodland themed room????
Yay for the toadstool!!! I love it in the dining room :) & I love all of the sprinklings of spring around the house!! Are you doing a wood grain wall??!!!!!!! If so, you know how I'd feel about that!! LOVE! xo

I love that spring is starting to emerge here. Love it. Sawyer's Star Wars stuff is so neat!
I'm guessing that might be part of the change for Emmy's room or possibly the guest room. The mirror looks like it could be the one in the guestroom but I'm not sure :)
So fresh and pretty! The little updates are so gratifying!
Stop right there! Is that a faux bois wall? I can't wait to see it what it is!
I love love love all of the green glass you added! I've been obsessing over it lately! That and mercury glass... And those Star Wars pillows are great!
I've been feeling spring too! Too bad for my husband spring equals pink in my world:)

Faux bois on the wall? Just a guess. :)
All your spring touches are SO pretty! I love all the green glass.
I'm just starting to think about springifying today.
Hi! I love all of your spring touches. You have inspired me to add a little colour to my rooms. x
Ha! The green bottle that you hoarded? I think we all enable each other's hoarding tendencies online here! Have you ever watched that show? It's like it hurts to watch but I HAVE to just SEE...andrea@townandprairie
Now spring is calling me too! What a great idea to answer with some spring colors and decorating...two of my favorite things!
Does your mom take orders for those pillows?! They are sweet!
So much to love...
Love the mushroom.
I have that same little blue bird, we got it from hubby's grandmother when we got married.
And my guess is trees.
This Star Wars pillows are awesome! Your Mom is amazing! I love that little mushroom! It looks like you're painting a tree of sorts! Can't wait to see what it is!
I think spring fever suits you nicely Cassie! Your home looks so fresh and pretty! I'm loving the fresh splashes of green! And how fun to have special touches from your mom in your home too! I've always loved the way you combine the old, the new and the little personal touches that are so you! Nicely done girlfriend! I'm so happy for the joy your new home has brought you!
Those pillows are AWESOME!! Bring it spring!
I can't wait to get started on my "spring fever". I just purchased red pillows for the front porch chairs. so excited about them. And I can't wait to see your surprise. Looks like wood grain???
Those are great ideas. I've never thought of "springifying" my house - or if I do, it's more along the lines of "spring cleaning." :) Your guest room looks so cosy!

Are you painting zebra stripes on your wall?
I love the mantle with all the green glass. It looks great against the grey.

Your house is looking so springy! The green is my favorite, or maybe it's the mercury mushroom, or maybe all of it! How talented is your mom?!?!?
Love all the Spring accents 'sprouting' up all around your house! Love the green in the living room. And did your mom machine sew those appliques?? Wow! She's so talented. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree ;) And do I get to be in on the sneak peek? :)
Love the vintage green addition. Crazy about your bench at the foot of the bed, I am on a look out for one!
I've become a big fan of blue and green glass, its so timeless! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier this week, I'm a new follower now :-).
