I have a dresser I actually did a little while ago, but forgot to share. I did show you the desk that came with it. So here is the dresser before:
Ok, so technically, that wasn't the true before.... that was the before it was painted but after holes were filled from its previous hardware and sanded smooth before...
I painted it with two coats of my go to Benjamin Moore Aura Platinum Gray, and painted the knobs with a fun yellow craft paint (and I am sorry but I can't even remember the color!). I distressed it lightly, and went over it with Minwax Golden Oak to just warm it a bit. Here it is now!
I thought it was so cute and fun and slightly mod. I thought it would be perfect in a fun nursery like this:

So right, your dresser would look fabulous in that nursery!
I love a pop of color inside furniture. It's like a little surprise every time you open a drawer or door. I do hope it finds a home that will love & treasure it at the next barn sale. Thanks for hosting!
I just love your dresser - and it so belongs in that nursery!!!
Many thanks for hosting
Have a great week
Hugs,
Suzan
Someone will appreciate that fab dresser. It would look great in that nursery, for sure.
That dresser is beautiful, Cassie! I love the distressing you've done on it. Good luck at the sale. Thanks again for hosting, and I'm glad to have something to link up to it. Megan
If someone told me they were going to paint a dresser gray and yellow, I probably would have cringed (my two least favorite colors, lol), but the combination actually looks great on your dresser and in that nursery. Thanks for making me 'see' outside my little box. And, thanks for the link-up party. I haven't been following you very long, so I think this may be the first time I've partied here.
That's an adorable piece! Love the pop of yellow inside. Put a changing pad on the top, and you've got a multi-purpose piece!
So pretty... Love the chunky, funky knobs! - Susan
Sometimes pieces of art just aren't appreciated the way they should be!
I love the dresser, the grey and yellow are sooo cute!
I think it's a cute one, surprised someone hasn't snapped it up.

I love the color combo you used - it would be perfect in a nursery!
I think it's adorable! Love those big knobs, such an fun flat shape....and those cubbies! plus gray and yellow is a winning combo in my book! :)When we finally get to redo our room it will be a taupish/gray/brown, with pale blue and yellow.
So cute, it needs a nursery!! I'd print out a big photo of that nursery and place it on an easel on the dresser at your sale! :)
i'd put that piece in ANY room in the house! i absolutely LOVE IT!!
I love the gray and yellow combo!! Thanks for hosting! -Sarah

Oh wow! I love this dresser and the room!! GREAT inspiration for my yellow and gray bedroom! :) Thank you!
It's fabulous~someone will see it and love it! It just has to be someone who has great taste. :)
Love that dresser with the fun little knobs!
I love the gray and yellow combo, especially if you were making a nursery for a baby where you didn't know the gender.
Look at me, I actually have a furniture project to link up. I'm guessing it's about a twice a year occurrence:)

I love that fun gray dresser and I agree! It would be perfect in a nursery!! Hey - is a mirror furniture?? haha. Nope.
I was thinking the same thing....so cute in a nursery. Great color combination and I love the big yellow knobs. It does give it that touch of whimsy. You will sell it quickly!
Awwww.....if I lived closer I would totally take it off of your hands! That color scheme is right up my alley. Is CA. toooo far for delivery? (I do think it's time for another visit - yes!!?) (and that ship has NOT sailed!!! I'll have my 2nd & you have your 3rd...!!? Yes!!? Ok :) yay!! Xo)
Well, I happen to love it and I love the color...you know I'm a sucker for that color. It will find a home...it's just waiting on the perfect owner to come along. :)
I just love the large yellow knobs on that dresser! I also love that nursery. Thanks for hosting!
Hey Cassie, as always, thanks for hosting. So, does an easel count as furniture? :) I wasn't sure what it falls under so it was worth a try, but seriously, no hard feelings if you tell me No, hit the road jack!
I would definitely use that dresser outside of a nursery too...it's stunning. LOVE the large knobs!
Someone will fall in love with that dresser for sure!! its gorgeous!!
I'm guessing golden oak wax is a fave of yours!!
Oh, I love it. It DOES look mod and would be perfect in a chic nursery. The big yellow knobs are my favorite and the grey suits them perfectly.
We must be on the same page today. I'm painting a china cabinet (for MY house, yay!), the inside is a great in your face yellow with a crisp white outside. The best part is that it will stand up against my newly painted gray wall!
That's a great color combination and I love those big knobs! And that nursery is so sweet! Almost makes me wish ... nope, just kidding!
That Grey takes my breath away !!
i don't know that i will ever tire of the gray and yellow combo. they really are such a lovely couple and they look great on that dresser. it would be perfect in a nursery indeed--but my ship has sailed too :).
