Yesterday, the kids wrapped up their week of sports camp; soccer for Sawyer, gymnastics for Emmy. Sawyer's camp had a family hour where they played a scrimmage and I was able to watch and take pictures of my favorite man in action. I even got to watch him score 2 of his team's goals!

Thanks for indulging me. :)
How bout I indulge you now, and share some of the fabulous features from this week's party.
This was one of those weeks where I had a hard time choosing because so many blew my socks off. I had to run down the road just to get my socks back because you are all so awesome.
This first one though, took the cake! I love this entire makeover, the furniture as well as the stripes on the wall, and the colors! You must see the transformations over at Happily Home After.

How fabulous is this vinegar stain project from Kayboo Creations? And yes, you read that right- this is not paint, but rather stain on an existing chevron wood pattern. Love it!
Confessions of a DIY-aholic shared this amazing happy yellow nursery dresser. I love the modern shape and bright color! And do you spy those cute little birdies? The whole nursery is oozing with creativity!
I am loving red right now, and this barn red dresser from Living a Redeemed Life does not disappoint. LOVE!
Julia at 551 East shared this gorgeous white dresser with gold highlights- glamorous and gorgeous!
Love this great yardstick stool from Creative Passage! The colors are SO fun!
And finally I can't not share this amazing refinished chair from Doing it Myself. I have never seen anything like it before! I am just going to tease you with this picture...
Happy weekend! I hope you get out and have fun, maybe score some great thrifty finds

I love that first make-over picture---I am loving striped walls lately and love the pop of orange too. Also, that nursery! Ahh--love it.

That boy is going to be breaking a whole lot of hearts in the future - gosh he's cute! ... beautiful features, as always!

Have a great weekend!
man that bird art above the changing table is adorable!
I might actually be able to pop by for a visit at the barn next weekend! we'll see if the schedule stays open for a little shopping trip! :)
Cute kids running around, playing, smiling, having fun, just being kids ... that's the essence of summer, and of family too. Shame I don't see the kids around here venture outside much. Sigh.
Thanks Cassie for your wonderful compliment on my furniture & foyer makeover and including my work in your lineup with those over lovely projects. I sure do appreciate the mention and the visits from your blog readers.

Sawyer is adorable! What a handsome young man he is and he certainly looks like his beautiful mama! Those are great photos! Amazing features this week! I love each one. I zeroed in on the fun nursery with the whimsical yellow and sweet birds. I am a bird lover. They remind me of my mom. Hope you had a good Saturday!

go sawyer, go sawyer. love the first feature and the yellow changing station. i don't think it's in the cards for us, but i wish i had reason to decorate a nursery. i'd do it so differently than i did before.
