My New Window Seat

Last week I shared with you a couple of pieces of the master bedroom makeover.  I am not yet ready for a big reveal, but I did figure out what to do with our dormer window space.  I had been struggling with what to do there.  I had thought about building a window seat, but I don't know if I am ready for that.  But then I found an awesome bench at the thrift shop!

This bench measured 42" wide and my space measured 43" wide.... could not have been more perfect!
I am sharing all of the details of the makeover at The DIY Club today (and there was no sanding or priming involved!), but here are a couple of pictures to tide you over....

This is my new favorite nook... LOVE it now!

Also, you can find me today over at A Sort of Fairytale.  I am honored that Stacey has asked me to be a part of her blogger's home tours series!  Head on over for a little tour of mi casa!

And while you are there, you may want to take the time to check out Stacey's beautiful home.  My favorite is her daughter's room....
And the rest of her home is just as sweet!
Happy Wednesday!

I'm a sucker for faux bamboo and throw in a little caning too and, well, I love that bench. Did they happen to have a second one? (for me!) How perfectly it fits the dormer window space. Love the white + slight distressing.
