Soft Pink Girly Dresser

Today I have a very soft and very girly dresser makeover to share with you.  The best part is how I acquired this dresser.  I received a phone call from a friend of my neighbors.  He and his family live in an awesome old stone farm house and have acreage and barn, and it's just a beautiful area! Anyhow, he had taken a week off of work to clean out the barns, and called me because he had a dresser he wasn't sure if I could use.  If not, it was headed to the landfill.  Yes, please, I will save it!

I used Cece Caldwell's Pinkerington Violet (LOVE this soft shade of cool pink!) to take this dresser from here:

to there:

You might have noticed some other changes, like new hardware, a new applique.... I am sharing all the details today over at The DIY Club.  Be sure to check out the post over there if you have any questions!

Pretty pretty! I love it - any excuse to paint something pink makes me a happy girl. I don't get to do that much around my own house living with 2 little boys. Some lucky little girl (or big girl!) will love it!

You realize thus considerably when it comes to this matter, made me personally believe it from so many varied angles. Its like women and men don’t seem to be involved until it is something to accomplish with Girl gaga! Your own stuffs outstanding. Always care for it up!

Oh how I love those phone calls from friends asking if I want some old furniture! What a beautiful find he gave you. I haven't tried that color yet, and I am inspired to find a little dresser to try it out on. I so love the little applique you added. It turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing. -K
